How much of a difference can a hepa filter make?

we have a chinese food pipe right by our windows and i'm finding myself coughing at the apartment. This is Manhattan, I would move but the rent is very very cheap here.

The hepa filter would make a big difference but would probably need frequent changing. I use 2 ionizers in my home for help with removing allergens and pet odors (2 cats and 1 dog). The ionizers do a great job and there is no filters to replace. Another option you might want to consider is an ozone generator. They are effective and the filter is usually replaced every 6 months. What is Hepa Filter?

 

HEPA filter means “High Efficiency Particulate Air” filters. These filters ensure a high degree of efficiency for removal of indoor and environmental pollutants in most environments.
