How to I restore the feel of the fabric?

I have a silk charmeuse gown which, after I washed it in the washer, no longer has that silky feel to it. It the fabric now feels more like cotton. It looks dull. It has lost its shine. How can I restore the gown back to its original state?

I dont think you can hon, u dont wash silk n washers btw. But when a material is changed it cant be restored, when u get leather wet,, it cracks and looks horrible, and its ruined. same with silk in washers , cant be fixed. sorry but its ruined:(
